Science Course Overview The 6th grade science program is designed to encourage students to explore the world around them in critical and creative ways. Part of that means that students analyze concepts in using higher order thinking skills and focus on themes surrounding our changing earth and transference of energy throughout our planet. Students will be engaging in scientific reasoning and laboratory activities. Part of the science curriculum additionally expects every child to complete a science project. Students work on science fair projects over several months. Final exhibitions occur at our annual Passion for Learning Night.
